What is faith? Is it a leap in the dark? Is it a wistful longing that something might come to pass in an uncertain tomorrow? Is it a firm belief in something for which there is no proof?

Those are all definitions that the world around has for faith. But, the author the Hebrews does not describe it that way. In fact, the Bible defines faith as something completely different.
